2025 Right Livelihood Conference
Join us for this year’s conference, where global changemakers will share their inspiring work in women’s activism, Indigenous rights, and environmental justice.
Featuring distinguished laureates Joan Carling, Reema Nanavaty, and Ryoko Shimizu, these two days of events will energize the next generation of advocates and strengthen UCSC’s role in global activism, with options to attend both in person and online.

From April 23 through 27, UC Santa Cruz will host social change leaders and student activists visiting from around the world for the Right Livelihood International Conference, which includes a series of public events and will launch a new international student network and international research partnerships.
