UC Santa Cruz hosts the Right Livelihood Summer Institute with world recognized activist, editor and publisher Nicanor Perlas. Perlas, a Right Livelihood Award laureate, received the “alternative Nobel” in 2003 for his work opposing corporate globalization. The institute will explore the intersection of humans and technology led by one of the subjects’ leading experts. This promises to be a powerful small-group seminar experience with participants from a wide range of backgrounds and ages.
